SQF Audit Preparation for Small Food Processors

 

Increasing number of grocery chains are requiring their suppliers to provide stronger evidence of commitment to food safety and quality. They require certifications such as the SQF for the vendor to be approved for business. Large food companies have the manpower and resources to comply with the SQF guidelines and codes in order to get SQF certified. However, smaller processors have a tough time to comprehend the steps that will successfully lead them to SQF certification. Failure to gain certification can lead to loss of business and can be detrimental to the company's future.
