President

Dr. Amit Morey is an Applied Scientist who has a passion to serve the community through Science! He strives to bridge the gap between theoretical research findings and its real-world applications. His mission is to bring science to the people and use it for the betterment of the food industry.

 

Dr. Morey is an expert in food processing technologies such as freezing, refrigeration, canning, drying, smoking, packaging but also studied their effects on the shelf-life and safety of foods.

THOMAS LOPEZ
Sr. Food Safety Consultant

Thomas (Tom) Lopez is a 30 year food industry veteran. He has extensive global/domestic experience with performance driven quantitative results in Quality Assurance, aseptics and thermally processed products. He has developed quality and food safety programs for processors, food service, produce and tomato operations.

Marco Marin has broad experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 18000, FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO 22716, ISO 17025, GMP, GLP, and GDP implementations.

 

He has significant experience in Raw Materials and Finished Goods for Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, Food and Fragrances industries. He is experienced in Analytical Testing Protocol implementation for R&D areas.

 

He specializes in working with spice companies in South America in:

  • Designing and implementing, food safety plans 

  • Gap assessment 

  • Internal food safety audits 

  • Improve quality and safety of products

 

He works with companies increase profit by helping them comply with export/domestic regulations and buyer standards.
