We are a 5000 member strong Co-operative owned and operated by the shareholders which include everyone involved in the operation. Based out of Guntersville, AL, VIP Co-op was started by a group of poultry farmers in 1985 and has grown to be one of the largest co-op in the poultry sector. The co-op focuses on broilers and layers mainly and owns feed mill, hatcheries, layer houses, a broiler and whole egg processing and further processing plant. Layer operations were included in the co-op recently to bring back the layer industry in the State of Alabama. We are also contract-growers for turkeys as it can bring diversity to our income stream as well as spur more interest in growing turkeys in the southern United States. In 2015, we acquired a plant-based meat processing company as a step to cater to the futuristic trends in the US food markets.
